Many of our staff are already working from home, and today the rest of the team are busy sending out as much work as possible before they too self-isolate at home. Please continue to send in your orders, which we will To View More >>

Tom and Lizzie Redman of Little Blossom Tree Photography love to photograph families, and chose this Q-Book Light as a studio sample. "Up until recently, Tom and I have done a few family shoots on the side of our wedding photography business - Tom and Lizzie Redman Photography. We absolutely love to take photos of family. Saying Yes to opportunities As a photographer, Rachael Waring likes to collaborate with people who aren’t scared to be themselves. A big part of her work is staying present and supporting those around her with love. By savouring the day-to-day and saying "yes" to opportunity she  has met and photographed Warren Buffett, Serena Williams, Amy Adams, Deepak Chopra, Diane von Furstenberg, David Beckham, Will I Am, Gordon Ramsay and Tom Hanks to name a few. Following on from last week's post, here are a few more album design tips. For all you photographers designing your own.  Let them breathe… We touched on cropping last time, but it's worth repeating! Sure photo-bombing is fun, but generally we like the core elements of an image to have a nice amount of breathing space to the edge of the page, or image "frame". In fact think of it exactly like framing a picture: it gives the subject a sense of intent and importance. Jamming things up against the image edge often looks awkward. WPPI 2014 was an exciting time for Queensberry, not least because it was there that Sonya and I first met Gregory Georges. He's featured in The New York Times Magazine, Sports Illustrated and many other magazines. Greg spent several years in software marketing and sales, including five years in England. He has a B.S. degree in business, double majoring in marketing and management. For the last few years he's been in partnership with Jonathon Penney, master print maker To View More >>

Heather is proud of our press books. Here she explains why… How 95% of the press/photobook market works First you buy a very expensive machine. Then you focus on how fast you can run it, how cheaply you can buy your paper, and how quickly you can bind and make covers. You print 4-colour. Above all else you focus on FEEDING THE MACHINE. You sell your product as cheaply as you can - and certainly not just to professional photographers. You don’t worry too much about colour because your customers don’t expect a lot, and probably think that a bad result is their own fault anyway. To View More >>
